Principles of architecture and architectural design chair

The chair provides specialists of basis and full higher education. It trains bachelors of architecture, specialists and masters in the speciality of “Architecture of buildings and structures” (specializing in “Reconstruction and restoration of architectural objects”). It trains post-graduates. The head of the chair is People Architect of Ukraine, laureate of the  State Prize in the branch of architecture and town-planning, the laureate of the  Prize Council of Ministers of USSR, Member of Architectural Academy of Ukraine, Honoured Member of the International Academy of Architecture, Member of the  Ukrainian Academy of Engineering Science, Construction Academy of Ukraine, the foreign member of Russian Academy of  Architecture and Construction Science, doctor of architecture, prof. Ezhov V.I.

Scientific researches are carried out in the fallowing trends:
  • General  history  and  theory  of   architecture  ( doctor  of  arts  science,  prof. Timofienko V.I., candidate  of architecture, docent Bachinska L.G., candidate of arts, docent Gassanova N.S., candidate of architecture, docent Zymina S.B.);
  • Ukrainian church architecture phenomenology, phenomenology and formology of a temple (candidate of architecture, docent Rucevych T.V., candidate of architecture, docent Gorbyk O.O., post-graduate Bachinska O.V.);
  • typology of apartment and civil buildings ( doctor  of architecture, prof. Ezhov V.I., doctor of architecture, prof. Sleptsov O.S., doctor of architecture, prof.  Sochenko V.I., candidate of  architecture, prof. Bezrodny P.P., candidates of  architecture, docents Shcherbakov O.V., Bachinska L.G.);
  • new architectural and construction systems (doctor of architecture, prof. Ezhov V.I., doctor of architecture, prof. Sleptsov O.S.).
