Metal and wood structures chair
The chair provides training of bachelors and specialists at all departments of the university. It trains specialists and masters in the specialities “ Industrial and civil engineering”. The head of the chair is candidate of technical science, docent Bilyk S.I. Scientific researches are carried out in the following trends:
- development of calculation theory of steel structures and methods of their optimization (Member of Construction Academy of Ukraine, candidate of technical science, docent Volodimirsky V.O., candidate of technical science, docent Bilyk S.I., candidate of technical science, lecturer Yurchenco V.V., lecturer Glitin O.B.);
- creation and researches of advanced structural systems work using efficient materials and profiles (candidate of technical science, Prof. Nilov O.O., candidate of technical science, docent Lavrinenko L.I., lecture Mihkailovsky D.V.);
- development and introduction of new reconstruction and strengthening methods of existing buildings ( candidates of technical science, docents Babichev P.E., Belov I.D.);
- development of calculation methods of wooden structures and their connections ( Member of Construction Academy of Ukraine, candidate of technical science, Prof. Klimenko V.Z.).
