Bases and foundations chair
The chair provides training of bachelors and specialists at all departments of the university. It trains specialists and masters in the speciality of “ Industrial and civil engineering”. The head of the chair is Horned Scientist of Ukraine, Member of Construction Academy of Ukraine and Academy of Engineering Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of technical science, Prof. Boiko I.P. Scientific researches are carried out in the fallowing trends:
- development of calculation and research methods of the interaction between elements of “basis-foundation-structure” system at all stages of its loading in view of processes of material nonlinear deformation ( doctor of technical science, Prof. Boiko I.P., doctor of technical science, Prof. Sakharov O.S., lecture Sakharov V.O., candidate of technical science Areshkovich O.O., scientist Kljuchka V.M., master Nosenko V.S.);
- development of the devices and techniques for the researches of properties of collapsible loessial soil at static and dynamic loadings ( Member of Construction Academy of Ukraine, candidate of technical science, Prof. Kornienko M.V., candidate of technical science, dicent Pjatkov O.V., lecture Diptan T.V.);
- development of calculation methods of piles and shallow foundation on the loessial bases ( candidate of technical science, Prof. Kornienko M.V., , candidate of technical science, docent Pjatkov O.V., senior instructor Golub V.P., lectures Zhuk V.V., Rashchenko A.M.);
- researches of natural and man-caused landslide phenomena on the territory of Ukraine, mechanics of its occurrence and development of the calculation methods of slope stability in view of the action of underground and superficial waters ( candidate of technical science, docent Petrenko E.O., candidate of technical science Areshkovich O.O.);
- researches of the influence of technological factors of sand hydraulic deposition and development of building methods on that territories of large cities of Ukraine ( candidate of technical science, Prof. Stepanenko G.V., candidate of technical science, docent Glotova M.O.);
- bases and foundations under reconstruction ( candidate of technical science, Prof. Tsymbal S.I., candidate of technical science, docent Oleinyk A.O.);
- development of the “VESNA”, the computer assisted simulation programme for the scientific work and educational process doctor of technical science, Prof. Boiko I.P., doctor of technical science, Prof. Sakharov O.S., lectures Sakharov V.O., Zhuk V.A., specialist of the second grade Sakhrov S.O.);
- modeling of retaining wall work in complex geological conditions using modern numerical and analytical calculation methods ( doctor of technical science, Prof. Boiko I.P., scientist Kljuchko V.M., masters Chomkalova I.O., Kasjanchuk S.A.);
- experimental and numerical researches of the interaction between the bases and foundations in view of structural rigidity and reconstruction ( doctor of technical science, Prof. Boiko I.P., doctor of technical science, Prof. Sakharov O.S., lecture Sakharov V.O., masters Nosenko V.S., Pidlutsky V.L., Zhygalo O.V.).
