Building materials chair

The chair provides basic higher education. It trains bachelors in the specialities of “ Construction” and “Architecture” and specialists and masters in the speciality of “Technology of building constructions, goods and materials”. The head of the chair is laureate of State Prize of Ukraine, Member of Construction Academy of Ukraine, Member of Academy of Engineering sciences of Ukraine, doctor of technical science, Prof. Krivenko P.V.

Scientific researches are carried out in the fallowing trends:
  • binders and concretes including those of special appointment on the bases of alkaline systems ( laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine, doctor of technical science, Prof. Krivenko P/V/, doctor of technical science, lecture Petropavlovsky O.M., candidate of technical science, docent Mokhort M.A.);
  • recourses saving technologies of rendering harmless of toxic and radioactive  waste  using mineral binders systems (doctor of technical science, Prof. Chistiakov V.V.);
  • recourses saving technologies of production of gypsum containing  composite materials ( candidate of technical science, Prof. Gasan Yu.G.);
  • binders and concretes including those of special appointment using waste of ferroalloy productions (candidate of technical science, docent Tropinov O.M.).
