City development chair
The chair provides professional and specific training of bachelors. It trains specialists and masters in the speciality of “City development and public services”. The head of the chair is Associate Member of Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Laureate of State Prize of Ukraine in Architecture, Laureate of State Prize of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, Member, Vice-president of Ukrainian Academy of Architecture; Member, Academician and Secretary of International Academy of Architecture (Moscow branch); Foreign Member of Russian Academy of Architecture and Building Sciences, Professor of International Academy of Architecture (Sofia), doctor of architecture. Prof. Diomin M.M. Scientific researches are carried out in the fallowing trends:
- development of legislative and standard basis of city development and territory planning in Ukraine, rational methods of development and reconstruction of cities and villages in Ukraine, city development cadastre and city informational systems ( doctor of architecture, Prof. Diomin M.M., Honoured Scientist, doctor of geographical sciences, Prof. Nudelman V.I., candidate of architecture, docent Syngaivska O.I., lecturer Byvalina M.V.);
- development of methods for provision and evaluation of environmental ecological condition ( doctor of biological science, Prof. Solukha B.V., candidate of technical science, Prof. Fux G.V., lecturer Plotnikova D.I.);
- application of methods of modeling and advanced technologies for evaluation of land sites costs in the cities including the development of engineering methods of defense, for preparation of engineering equipment and organization of public services and amenities of territories ( candidates of technical science, docents Leontovych V.V., Nischuk V.S., lecturer Pryimachenko O.V.);
- development of standard basis, new methods of designing and reconstruction of city transport systems based on modeling and creation of expert systems ( Prof. Levitan Ya.B., candidate of technical science, Prof. Reitsen E.O., candidate of technical science, docent Dubova S.V., docent Cherednychenko P.P., lecturer Vasylieva A.Yu.);
- development and improvement of new methods of reconstruction city engineering structures ( doctor of technical science, Prof. Usakovsky S.B., candidate of technical science, Prof. Fux G.B.).
