Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture trains qualified specialists on construction and architecture in 22 specialities:
- industrial and civil engineering;
- management of organizations;
- building structures, product and materials technology;
- science of goods and commercial activity;
- city development and cadastre;
- geodesy;
- geoinformational systems and technologies;
- hoisting, building, road, amelioration machines and equipment;
- technological processes automation management;
- information controlling systems and technologies;
- computer design systems;
- professional training on production, operation and repair of hoisting, building, road, amelioration machines and equipment;
- professional training on computer technologies in management and training;
- architecture of buildings and structures;
- town planning;
- design of architectural environment;
- fine and decorative applied art;
- heat and gas supply and ventilation;
- structures and equipments for water supply and water disposal;
- water supply and water disposal;
- ecology and environmental protection.
The training is executed on the basis of contracts with organizations and firms as well as with individuals.
The teaching languages are: Ukrainian for technical specialities and Russian for architectural ones.
Foreign citizens having received education in their native countries enter the university on the basis of their foreign educational documents after their nostrification in the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Annual tuition fees are:
- 13600 hryvnas (without scholarship) at the preparatory department;
- 17000 - 25000 hryvnas (without scholarship) at the main departments;
- 25000 - 30000 hryvnas (without scholarship) for the post-graduated courses.
Tuition fee for scientific trainee course is $ 500 per month.
INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL COOPERATION
In accordance with the specificity and directions of its activity Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture takes an active part in the development and strengthening of its international ties. The latter are executed in conformity with the present legislation and statute of state higher education institution by contracts with foreign educational and scientific institutions, funds, firms and societies.
The main directions of international cooperation are the following:
- Training and re-training of foreign specialists in our university as well as sending our students and specialists for studying in foreign building higher educational institutions;
- Organization and participation in scientific conferences and seminars;
- Development of coordinated teaching methods, publications of the results achieved;
- Acquaintance with national cultural traditions of foreign partners, maintenance of friendly personal relations.
233 foreign students from 36 countries study in 12 specialities of the main departments of the university. All of them have proper accommodation in the hostels. Besides, 20 foreign post-graduate students from 9 countries study at different chairs of the university.
The cooperation of Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture with foreign educational and scientific institutions is carried out on the basis of 16 agreements signed with organizations from 13 countries. The university continues its work within the international program "Transform". One of the results of this work was the creation in the University of German - Ukrainian educational centre.
