 Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture is the leading educational establishment in Ukraine, which trains specialists for foreign countries. Its prestige is based on successful combination of reach traditions having been formed for more than 70 years. First foreign students arrived at the university in 1948. The first graduation took place in 1953. During its existence the university trained about 10 thousands specialists for more than 80 countries. At present 250 students and 20 post-graduates students from 32 countries are trained at the university. KNUBA trains students at 6 main departments:

     - Construction department;

    - Architectural faculty;

    - Geo-informational systems and territories management department;

    - Sanitary-engineering department;

    - Automation and information technologies department;

    - Construction technological department.

 To be admitted for studding foreign citizens must submit the fallowing documents:

    1.      National passport and its copy;

2.      Certificate of finishing the preparatory department for foreign citizens;

3.      Certified copy of the secondary education specifying the subjects studied and the corresponding marks (grades);

4.      Medical certificate certified by the official body of the state from which an applicant arrived. It must be given not earlier than two months before arriving to the territory of Ukraine.

5.      Copy of his/her birth certificate.

6.      14 photographs, size 4x6 sm.;

7.      Medical certificate confirming the absence of AIDS and malaria, thorax X-ray examination;

8.      Returning ticket with an open date to go back to the motherland for the period up to one year.

 The documents mentioned in points 1,3,4,5 must be certified according to the legislation of the country of their submission and proper legalized as well as translated into Ukrainian language and certified by the state notary.  

 Foreign citizens admitted for studding at the university are given a place at the university hostel: rooms for 2 and for 3 with all necessary amenities.

 Training is carried out according to contracts or nominates for study given by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the basis of international agreements. Foreign citizens’ arrival is fulfilled on the basis of individual invitations given by the university.
