Pro-rector on scientific work Lizunov Petro Petrovych (born in 1950)is doctor of technical science, professor, head of information science principles chair (1995), dean of construction department (2004), Member of Construction Academy of Ukraine (1999) and Engineering Academy of Ukraine (1999), Member of National Committee in Theoretic and Applied Mechanics (1993).In 1972 he graduated from Kyiv Civil Engineering Institute. Since 1975 he worked in KNUCA as a scientific worker in Scientific-Research Laboratory of Thin-walled and Space Constructions Problems of Scientific-Research Institute of Building Mechanics in KNUCA (1991), head of Computing Centre (1994), head of the chair. In 1976 he defended his Candidate of Technical Science theses and in 1989 – his Doctorate theses. Directions of his scientific work are: computer modeling of dynamics of solids and deformed bodies systems under complex movement, software for engineering problems solving. He is the author of more than 100 scientific works including 5 monographs and manuals. The main works are: “Non-classical theory of shells and its application for engineering problems solving” (1978), “Stability of periodical processes in non-linear systems” (1983), “Oscillation of solids and deformed bodies systems under complex movement” (1989), “Oscillation of solids in central field of force” (1989).
