Rector TUGAY Anatoly Mikhailovych (1938) – doctor of technical science, professor, rector (1984), head of water supply chair. He is Associate Member of Pedagogical Academy of Ukraine (1999), Laureate of M.S.Budnykov Prize (2000), Honoured Educational Worker of Ukraine (1991), Honoured Professor of Institute of Water Problems in New York University (1999), Honoured Professor of Construction Higher Educational Establishments Association of UIS countries, President of “Specialists for construction” association, head of Rectors Union of Kyiv Higher Educational Establishments Center (since 1985), Vice-president of Rectors Union of Ukraine, Vice-president of Rectors Association of Construction Higher Education Establishments of UIS countries. He graduated from Kyiv Civil Engineering Institute (1964), worked as a foreman in Kyiv construction sites. Since 1969 he has worked in KNUBA. In 1971 he defended his Candidate of Technical Science theses and in 1984 was given the academic rank of Professor. Directions of his scientific work are: rational use and protection of water resources, water supply of settlements and industrial enterprises; creation of multi stepped educational system; scientific researches of the problems of higher education in the transitional period of production to market conditions and training of specialists in such conditions. He published more than 70 scientific and scientific-methodic works including 2 monographs, text-books and manuals, 2 patents. He was decorated with 2 government awards. |
